Crispy Puri


The most famous and admired food combination in Maharashtrian Cuisine is Shrikhand-Puri. It’s really mouthwatering thinking of a luncheon in Maharashtra and having Shrikand-Puri. As I stated earlier, Festive Potato Curry goes best with this combination.
Here is how to make Crispy Puries to make the dish more attractive.


You will need:

  1. Wheat flour – 1 Cup
  2. Rawa/Suji – 3 tsp
  3. Oil – 3 tsp
  4. Salt – 1/2 tsp

Recipe:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add water slowly so that a very hard dough is formed.
  3. Keep it aside at lease for 15 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts.
  5. Start rolling the puries.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan.
  7. Fry Puries one by one.
  8. Take out on a tissue paper.
